Hi,

We are using OMAPL138 with linux 2.6.37 version for our Product. We have Gadget serial driver for Winows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

But we do not have for Windows 8 and Windows 10 and we are in need of these drivers immediately.

Hence please support on the above requirement to fulfill the customer need.

    Is the driver you are looking for provided by TI for Windows XP and Windows 7 or is this provided by Microsoft or 3rd party vendor?

    If you could point us to the location where you obtained the Windows XP and Windows 7 drivers we may be able to provide some guidance.

    Hi Rahul,

    We found "linux-cdc-acm.inf" file at "usr/src/linux-2.6.37-calixto-sodimm_v1/Documentation/usb" path. This file supports for Host OS like Win XP 32bit, Vista 32bit and Vista 64bit.

    For Windows 7, we googled and downloaded from some web link and i am not sure about the web link. I will try once again locating the link.

    And I have a basic question like, with whom the scope lies in updating the driver for upcoming Host OS?

    Hi Rahul!

    1) Is any changes for the main question? We also need a support for Gadget Serial in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
    2) Maybe there is other way to use USB on TI's chipset as USB Serial Converter?
