AM5728: RTC-only mode

Hi,

It is written that RTC only mode is not supported in the current AM57 xx data sheet.

Is there a schedule that RTC only mode features will be supported in the future?

Also, is there a good idea to use the AM57xx with a portable product like a tablet?

The AM57xx family of devices are not optimized for mass-produced tablets. They are optimized for industrial applications including industrial tablets and other HMIs.

The AM57xx family of devices do not support RTC-only mode of operation. This is a low power state. The RTC on the AM57xx devices is usable but the time must be set each time it boots up. The PMIC defined for use with the AM57xx devices can also provide RTC functionality. There is no plan to support RTC-only mode on the AM57xx devices in the future.
