AM3352: Power on sequence problem with TPS65910

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65910

Hello,

In our board, TPS65910AA1 VDAC supplies power to AM3352BZCZ60 VDDS and VDDS_RTC. When VDAC starts supplying power to VDDS_RTC, VDD_CORE power level is raised. CAP_VDD_RTC is connected to VDD2 (VDD_CORE) on our target board because we don’t use RTC feature. It seems there is a leak current from VDDS_RTC to VDD_CORE. Does this leakage exist on the device design? Also, the leakage current exists between CAP_VDD_RTC and VDD_CORE. Please refer to Note E at Figure 6-6 in Datasheet.

Changing the power supply for VDDS_RTC from VDAC to VDIG2 of the same 1.8 V eliminates the lifting waveform of VDD_CORE. Is VDIG2 better than VDAC to supply power to VDDS_RTC? Do you know why the waveform is improved? Please give me some advice.

I attached waveform and connection diagram. Please let me know if you have some advice.

Regards,

Kazu
