AM5728: USB interface insertion loss

Hi,

I have one question regarding Insertion loss of AM5728 USB interface.

I checked the Application Report "High-Speed Interface Layout Guidelines" (spraar7e).

My customer would like to insert the Common mode filter in USB differential.

According to Table 5 of its report, KeystoneII has the value of SuperSpeed Insertion Loss at 2.5GHz(device to connector) . Bur DRA7xx/AM57xx does not have its value in Table4.

Please let me know the value of Insertion Loss at 2.5GHz/5GHz.

Also I confirmed the AM57xxIDK board. AMC2012 (TDK ) filter is used on the board. Is this recommended?

This value is defined in the USB specification and is dependent on the product role (Host or Device) and connector used.

I can save you a search of the spec. and provide the actual value for your specific product if you can provide these two variables.
