TINA/Spice/TMS320C6670: “TMS320C6670 Evaluation Board, NDK client programing”

Part Number: TMS320C6670
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Dear Sir,

My Application is running on TMS320C6670, Application need Ethernet communication between DSP Board and Linux PC for sending the DATA,

We are running socket server program in Linux PC with static IP configuration and client program is running in DSP board, I am using NDK client example code form “C:\ti\mcsdk_2_01_01_04\examples\ndk\client\evmc6670l”.  We are running the code with static IP Address following console output soon below.

I am not able to transmit the data between DSP and Linux machine, please provide what are the modifications required in NDK client program, please provide the solutions.

I am eagerly waiting for reply.

  • Hi,

I've notified the NDK team. their feedback will be posted here.

    Best Regards,
    Yordan
  • Hi,

The MCSDK is already obsolete, please use the latest Processor SDK 3.3 release. If you use the static IP on NDK/C6670 EVM, the Linux PC needs on the same subnet. At least you should be able to ping the EVM from Linux machine. There also some test application under NDK for Windows, ndk_2_2x_xx_xx\packages\ti\ndk\winapps, if you use a Windows machine you can test with it EVM as well.

  • Hi Sir,

Thanks a lot for your support. I am able to communicate with Linux machine, with NKD code,

I am having following queries on IFFT processing listed below.

    1.     I have gone through the “FFTC_Simple_testProject” Example code which is given, it is working fine test results are getting passed.

    2.     My application need 512, 1024 and 2048 IFFT and FFT processing, application is running on core 0, “TMS320C6670”, Please let me now what are the modification required in the “FFTC_Simple_testProject” to run the FFT and IFFT in my application.

Please provide the modification or inputs to run FFT and IFFT, I am eagerly waiting for reply.

    Thanks & regards,

    Anil Kumar

  • Hi,

Can you open a new thread for FFT/IFFT questions as the NDK issue was already closed? The dicsussion of FFT under NDK is confusion, also it is helpful for others to find info for FFT when they search/look at the topic subject line. Thanks!
