Hi,

i would like use usb based wifi dongle(EDUP ) to connect to the network for IoT Application. could someone share the procedure to enable usb based wifi dongle on beaglebone black.

here i am using TI's SDK Version 03.02.00.05

Hi Ramaraju,

1. Make sure USB Host is configured as shown in the pdf: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Usbgeneralpage
Follow AM335x USB configuration
2. Make sure CONFIG_RTLWIFI, CONFIG_RTL8192CU configuration is set( Please confirm what realtek chipset is being used. This si just an example) in kernel.
3. Make sure you have and configure wpa_supplicant in the linux package to configure and connect to an AP
