I am developed one custom board with TI AM3354 processor. In that i have used RMII interface for Ethernet. I am using LAN8720A phy. After booting , it is detecting the Phy, but ping is not working. I am using 25MHz crystal in phy and REF_CLK (50MHz) will be generated by phy to the processor. Hardware wise it is OK. but link is not establishing. Is there any first time configuration is required for enabling Ethernet. I have not done any timing analysis. Is any one faced this type of issue. Is 50MHz clock generation from Phy creates any issue or i have give external 50Mhz clock to processor and phy. PLsease clarify.
