Getting started with TMS320DM6437

I tired to connect this board to my computer and run some of the demos. I have followed the instruction in the instruciton sheet but when I try to discoer the board throw ethernet the program says the are no boards connect to this network, the green and yellow lights on the ehternet port of the board are ON.

Can anyone help me plz?

The board is setup to use DHCP out of the box, so to use the demo out of the box you need to have the board and the host PC connected to the same local network with a DHCP server, such as behind a typical broadband router, as opposed to a cable directly between the PC and the board.

To debug further, if you connect to the board using Code Composer Studio (CCS) you can load the demo application manually and see the output from it in CCS to determine where else it could be going wrong.

hiee bernie,

i have sucessfully connected the pc and dsp via ethernet,i have decoded demo file in to the dsp as well i encoded it in a particular location..now how do i chekc my output file form the dsp???i dint connect any audio or video devices its just a trial with the dmeo version...plz reply to me??
