Hi, customer is reporting that Timer6 stop generating an expected signal after some time (less than 3 minutes).
he investigated the behavior at the beginning of the IT of timer 6 and fund out the TCRR value is not good and lower than TLDR
No other software touches the timer6 .
they use a 25MHz clock
they also tested/verified the following :
- by using a prescaler(/4) with the timer it seems to "fix" the seen issue
- by connecting VSS_OSC to ground , the bahvior is also not seen
Questions /
- would you see anything that would explain the mentionned behavior
- would the 2 tests done seems close to possible fixes to an possible identified cause ?
