Hi Madhu,

After you connect to the desired core, you can monitor the memory, the registers, you can use the trace in CCS (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Debugging_With_Trace) and so on.

Hi Madhu,

What are you trying to debug?
For example if you have a brand new board (no os flashed on it), then no the only way to debug it is by using the Jtag & CCS to get the subsystems in your SoC alive (configure ddr, dplls, pinmux & so on..).

Also if you're running RTOS the best way to debug is through Jtag.

If you have linux flashed you can change the loglevels, use gdb, add debug prints, enable ftrace & so on.. you don't need JTAG to debug linux issues.
