Two UART1's on the DM365?

Hi,

According to the DM365 documentation there are only two UART interfaces on the DM265 viz UART0 & UART1. This I am happy with. I am a bit confused however as to how the pins E4 & E1 are labeled UART1_RXD & UART1_TXD respectively whilst pins V4 & T1 are also labelled UART1_RXD & UART1_TXD respectively? What is going on here?

Hi Nick,

The UART1_RXD/UART1_TXD pins are double muxed. They can be configured to be on either E4/E1 or V4/T1 pins. Please refer to the section 3.5 "Pin Multiplexing" in the DM365 data sheet (SPRS457C) and section 9.12.5 "Pin Mux 3 (Pinmux3) register" and section 9.12.6 "Pin Mux 4(Pinmux4) register" in the ARM SS (SPRUFG5A).
