AM3354: UART question

Hello. I am using the am3354 processor, the operating system is RTEMS, the boot configuration pin of [0] to [11] -111011111111, [12] to [15] are fixed - 0010, I can not access the UART3 pin 116, 118. How do I configure the Control Register Module to send a byte to UART3 THR.

What exactly is "UART3 pin 116, 118"? Can you provide more details of what you are trying to do?

I use MitySOM-335x Development Kits, and I want to send data through UART3_tx, outputs pin is #116.

This is a third-party product. TI does not have the documentation for this module. UART3_TXD can be pinmuxed to 3 different processor pins. I suggest you contact the SOM manufacturer for documentation and support.

I know with him are together GMII1_RXD2 / UART3_TXD / RGMII1_RD2 / MMC0_DAT4 / MMC1_DAT3 / UART1_RIN / MCASP0_AXR1 / GPIO2 [19], in default configurations he is GMII1_RXD2 (as I understood with AM335x_techincal_reference_manual), but I need to configure it as UART3_TXD, how to do it ?

Okay, this is pad control register CONF_MII1_RXD2 at offset 0x938. Control module base address is 0x44E1_0000, so register absolute address is 0x44E1_0938. Pad control register fields are described in section 9.2.2 of the AM335x TRM Rev. P. You need to set MUXMODE to 1 and PULLUDEN to 1, so you should write 0x09 to this register. This will set the pin as UART3_TXD.
