AM3352: 4-layer PCB

Part Number: AM3352

Would there be any restriction to keep a customer from building a 4-layer PCB for the AM3352? The BeagleBone Black is a 6-layer PCB, but if the customer can get the routing done on a more simplified layout, should there be any noise or filtering issues that cannot be avoided?

That section is helpful, but only addresses DDR3 routing.

Are you or anyone on your team aware of anyone who has successfully routed a board with Ethernet and clocking and sufficient power planes with only 4 layers?

Rules that apply for DDR will apply for other peripherals too. I don't have information about how customers design their PCBs.
