dm6467T boot promblem

I'm now using a new Dm6467T evm board and I have a boot problem. I try to boot the board with Minicom but the console only display "bootme" and the boot procedure cannot go on. What's the problem?( I configure the sw3 as 0111000)

As the dm6467t is a new one, does the problem mean I need to burn uboot to the board nand?

NAND Boot should be used on DM6467T EVM. Set SW3[1-8]=11100000 (that is set BM0=1, BM1=1 and BM2=1 and rest of the bits to zero).

Thank you, srirami. I tried as you said and the dm6467T booted successfully. But why cannot spi boot mode(01110000) be used here ?

What should I do if I want to use spi boot mode?

The default UBL is written for NAND boot and flashed to NAND. If you like to use SPI boot, you have change the UBL structure (boot image) and format (AIS) as per the SPI boot instructions specified in "Using the TMS320DM646x DMSoC Bootloader" document (http://www.ti.com/litv/pdf/spraas0c).

Thanks, Srirami. I had the same problem. NAND boot mode works for the DM6467T EVM, aka Spectrum Digital HD1080P EVM.

NOTE, HOWEVER, that the startup guide that comes on paper, as well as online, as well as the evm technical ref, ALL recommend starting up for the first time in SPI boot mode, as did the originator of this thread. But it seems this is wrong. It would be nice if online resources were corrected and new printed resources corrected. (It cost me 90 minutes lost time to get to this point. Now I finally have video out, a pretty image of the remote control.)

P.S. I do finally find http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/GSG:_DM6467_DVEVM_Hardware_Setup which mentions different dip switch settings for different DVSDK versions. I guess I have one later than 3.10.
