VGA video capture on the DM648 EVM?

Hello,

I'm trying to setup a VGA/XGA/SVGA video capture using the DM648 EVM. Has anyone done this before?

I understand that the TVP7000 digitizer interfaces to the DM648 using only a 16 bit Y/C data path. And since the TVP7000 doesn't perform the RGB to YCbCr color space conversion, I'm not going to be able to display the captured images correctly. I'm just trying to get a head start on some software while I can.

But specifically I can't get the TVP7000 to sync properly using the external HS and VS. I'm curious as to whether there is a limitation in the Lyrtech BSL driver library I'm using.

 

Any help or thoughts are greatly appreciated.
