Linux/am5728: PRU UART and eCAP support

Part Number: AM5728
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM5728

Tool/software: Linux

I am working on an AM5728 design and would like to know how difficult it would be to used the PRUSS UART and ECAP functions in the standard Linux build. Because of the pin muxing requirements of my design, I am running out of serial UARTs. I also have a requirement for syncing the system clock to a GPS PPS signal. So I am thinking that I could use the PRUSS subsystem for this. I need to know how much support is available in the Linux distribution for simple usage of  the PRUSS so I can feed that back to my software team. Thanks!
