Linux/LINUXSDK-OMAPL138: SATA turn off

Part Number: LINUXSDK-OMAPL138
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138

Tool/software: Linux

Hi,

I'm measuring 100mA current in 1.2V line to OMAPL138. Not much but when produced with LDO, heat generation is remarkable. In power spreadsheet I switched SATA off and 1.2V consumption dropped significantly. Currently I'm not using SATA; there is 100MHz clock active input for future use.

Is it possible to turn SATA off in kernel or in user level, I could not find anything related?

BR, risto
