66AK2H14: De-asserting POR and RESETFULL

Part Number: 66AK2H14

Hi,

In hardware user-guide and the datasheet of 66AK2h14, POR and RESETFULL must be de-asserted only after all the SOC powers are up.

But in EVB of 66AK2H14, POR and RESETFuLL are up before VPP1V8 is up ( as per power sequence diagram in page 6).

So I would like to know whether the statement given in user-guide and datasheet is mandatory.

Regards,

Madhu

  • Hi Madhu,

I've forwarded this to the hardware design experts. Their feedback should be posted here.

  • Madhu,

You are confusing the power supplies.  The supply that you see coming up after PORz and RESETFULLz is VPP1V8.  That is the supply used for programming security keys when provisioning secure devices.  The 1.8V I/O supply for the 66AK2H device is labeled VCC1V8 in this diagram.  This is the supply connected to the DVDD18 supply pins on the 66AK2H device.  It clearly must come up before PORz and RESETFULLz rising.  The sequence in the Data Manual must be met.
