Hi,

I started an SDK build on my Ubuntu VM, it is out of disc space, so i need to stop the build, the build I guess takes over 10GB or so.

How do I stop the build?

How do I clean up and restart the build after I expand the VM disc?

Build command:

MACHINE=am335x-evm bitbake -k arago-core-tisdk-image

Overrunning the disc space seems to have destroyed my Ubuntu VM.

Looks like there is no way to expand the disc with VMWare player.

Can someone tell me what size disc I need for the AM35x starter kit SDK and CCS and whatever else extreme code bloat is needed for the starter kit?

Hello Nathan,
A complete CCS installation for ALL targets and debug probes will be ~3GB. Assuming that you will only install the targets/probes you need, your actual install size should be a below that.

The SDK build for the 3 day lab for the am35x starter kit seems to be 5-10 GB.

Not sure about CCS itself.

I'm running Ubuntu on a VM so I have to know what size hard disc to config.

CCS is a max of 3GB for a FULL install of everything.

OK, well the SDK build described here is insane, during the build it takes 10GB, maybe 15GB.

Hello Nathan,

To stop the build press Ctrl+C.
To clean the build use MACHINE=am335x-evm bitbake -k arago-core-tisdk-image -c clean command, or delete the TMPDIR and SSTATE_DIR directories described in <tisdk>/build/conf/sanity_info file.
Depending on the image, platform and which version of Processor SDK you are building the build may require more than 100GB storage space.
