Hi,

We want to use wireless card on android AM3517 platform.

But we’d like know how to add CONFIG_WIRELESS_EXT=y in Linux kernel configure.

Is this CONFIG_WIRELESS_EXT command remove on kernel 2.6.32?

Have any repleace command to add wireless?

You can follow our AM37x SDK to understand how to enable WLAN support in Linux kernel.

I've been over the AM37x SDK Installation instructions http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Installing_the_AM37x_SDK. It seems that this SDK won't install unless you install the Code Sourcery Tool Chain. I've already got the Rowboat-Android ARM Tool Chain. I don't really want to install an unecessary tool chain just to get this SDK to install so that I can get the Wireless LAN "WL1271 Kernel patch and application for WLAN and Bluetooth support."

Is there another way?
