Hello:

I want to use OpenMP under sys/bios, i create hello project used "hello_with_make" example, it works correctly. And i also want to use POSIX thread, so i add " var Settings = xdc.useModule('ti.sysbios.posix.Settings'); ", just add this line in omp_config.cfg file , but it can't work. I want to know why.

Hi Yordan,

I'm using C6670 , i'm using sysbios library v 6.42.3.35 and for me also i did same thing to include pthread library.
In cofig file i did same changes

var Settings = xdc.useModule(‘ti.sysbios.posix.Settings’);
Settings.supportsMutexPriority = true;

I also change my settings and include this library even then i'm getting illegal characters error.
Kindly tell me what can be the reason.

Hi Lalit:
I found when we selected "Enable support for OpenMP 3.0" ,it will automaticlly selected "Muli-threading is assumed"(Build->Advanced options ->Advanced Optimizations). This will disable the use of POSIX Threads, but I don't know why .
