DM648 + ALE BYpass Mode + NDk 1.92

hello all I would not like to spread rumors but ti latest dsp DM648 is not all what it suppose to be I have gottem the board from lyrtech that built around ti processor DM648 . Now in this DM648 processor they introdce the handling of two ethernet ports via the help of 3G - switch . Now here is trick as they say dsp can handle two ethernet port the reality - it actually does not . the ndk 1.92 , project helloworld on which i built my code was initially designed in normal mode. normal mode means packets being received just enter the switch and leave by the other ethernet port - see the trick the packet never enter the dsp or dsp memory. Now you can convert the code in ALE bypass mode , to allow packet to enter dsp before leavning via the physical port. The information on ALE bypass is very little and not openly discussed on any forum as i have seen. now in ale bypass your code will run but only for limited time and then it halts for no real good reason :( very very annoying bec i been searching for 1 year now for a solution - but no luck. I asked ti , and they never reply or just make an excuse and more oftenly they just pin out to things that are utterly useless to begin with - truth is that they have no idea about ALE bypass mode themselves :( sad... making me get stuck bec i only bought the board for ALE bypass mode :( and it turned out to wild goose chase :( now anyone out there who can help me i am ready to share my information with them :( ti doesnt reply and its very fustrating :( I read on this forum that ti i was creating anew driver for ALE bypass but its not true as it dated 10 september or something and on asking for it it they didnt reply :( question : ALE bypass configuration in helloworld project in ndk 1.92 Regards Amna
