J6EVM5777: Command Not Working

Hi Kishan,

which Linux distribution you use? 'apt-get' command is used in Ubuntu (and all Debian based distributions) to add/remove programs and in case of building Android there are some tools and libraries that need to be installed on the PC. Can you show which document you refer for building Android image?

we are running Android Marshmallow MR3 6.0.1 (M4B30Z) on ARM architecture which we have build on our host PC having UBUNTU 14.04

can you run the following commands in a terminal on your Ubuntu and post the output:

ls -l /usr/bin/apt-get

dpkg -l apt

that's strange, the file is there and is executable. Can you show what is the output of the following commands:

echo $PATH

file /usr/bin/apt-get

/usr/bin/apt-get
