TMS320C5535: 4096 FFT computation

Hello,

I have 4096 real points for which I need to compute the FFT. I am new to DSP and hence facing issues in understanding of the HWAFFT(referred -spruh87h.pdf)

Could someone please share a working project(Coe Composer Studio) with some test values, which I can refer for my understanding and modify according to my needs.

Thanks Lalindra for your answer.

I see there's a limitation of 1024 points. Could you please tell what changes do I need to make for 4096 points?

Hello Lalindra,

I am using DSPLib to compute the FFT of 1024 points initially. I followed the steps according to the document (sprac34.pdf) and got success in all the steps.

But I am a warning message like - hwafft function implicitly declared.

Hello Lalindra,

For better knowhow I tried the code for computation of 4096 FFT points from the thread suggested by you (e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/c5000/f/109/t/269367). The "5808.test.c" file uploaded by Mark is giving a compilation error - "unable to find twiddle_buf" but it already defined in .cmd file. What could be the reason for this error?

Can I simply define the twiddle factors in an array instead of using the twiddle.asm file?

Could you please me fix this.
