AM5718: Viewer for IDK board files

Hi,

I have downloaded the AM571x IDK EVM CAD files from www.ti.com/.../tmdxidk5718. When I try to open the .brd file with Cadence Allegro Free Physical Viewer V16.6 I get an error message. What version of the viewer is necessary to open the board design?

Hi,

I have the same Allegro viewer v16.6 and I downloaded and opened the .brd file just now. Maybe your download was corrupted somehow. Can you try again?

Hi Biser,

I have just tried again. The problem was the "(" character within the file name. When I delete the "(" and ")" character in the filename it works. Looks like a Cadence Allegro Viewer bug (?). Strange that you have been able to open the file.

Yes, I can confirm that. Seems I opened another copy of the file that doesn't have parenthesis. I will notify the factory team to rename the file.
