Considering going from a 7” WVGA (800x480) to a higher resolution 9” LCD Screen (1024x600) or (1280x800) on the new Device. What are our limitations with the TI AM335X processor? The states in the datasheet it supports 2048x2048 resolution. Is that for all the processors or just specific ones. What other challenges will we see going to a higher resolution processor?

I do believe they can transition fine into the larger resolution LCD panel, but any additional insight/gotchas/etc would be most helpful for those that have gone through this already, esp in terms of available Linux driver support for the larger resolution.
