Hi ,

I have Am4376 based custom board.

we made changes to UART5 as debug console based on the below post.

Now we want bring up the uart port1 [which is used for LTE module]

following the above link is enough or I need to do any extra modification to bring up the UART1

please guide us

Hello Ravi,

The thread you referred brings up UART5 on U-Boot, but you will probably need to bring up the uart port1 in Linux side to use it for LTE module, so you can refer to this thread.

I am using the custom board based on Am4376

I attached the .csv file part generated from the TI pin mux tool

For enabling the UART1 for LTE only device tree changes in linux is enough or I need to change mux.c in U-boot like above we did for UART5 for debug console .

Only device tree changes in Linux will be enough, just make sure that the pins are not already in use by another peripheral.
