Linux/AWR1642BOOST: Installation of mmw-SDK on linux

Tool/software: Linux

Hi all,

I am trying to install the mmw-SDK on my Linux computer. I downloaded the bin file for installation , then made it executable using chmod +x and then ran the executable. However, there is no folder created after completing this command.

Are there any more steps I should be following to get access to the folders ?

Hello,

I tried to install www.ti.com/.../mmwave-sdk with sudo ./mmwave_sdk_01_00_00_05-Linux-x86-Install.bin.
I not have not bserved any problem.
The installer is asking you for the path where mmwave_sdk_01_00_00_05 to be install could you check in this path in my case was /home/.../ti/mmwave_sdk_01_00_00_05 ?

Yes that could be the reason I am not able to install it. I am running ubuntu 16.04.

Is it compatible with ubuntu 16.04?

Hi.
Just install libc6 32 bit library and try. Should work. You face the same problem trying to install CCS on Ubuntu 16.

sudo apt-get install libc6:i386
