Can't Flashed pre-image 6AJ.1.2 on Jacinto6 Rev.D ES1.0

I tried flash pre-image 6AJ.1.2

pre-image is download from http://software-dl.ti.com/omap/jacinto6/JACINTO6-EVM/6AJ_1_2_Release/index_FDS.html

And i tried flash pre-image by omapedia.org/.../6AJ.1.2_Release_Notes

I copy u-boot.img and MLO files to SD Card and boot Jacinto6 from this SD Card.

I connect a USB cable from Linux PC to USB3.0 port of Jacinto6.

I Power on Jacinto6 and start u-boot and typed fastboot command

I run fastboot.sh on Linux PC . but not running .

I found that Linux PC did not detect Jacinto 6.
How can a Linux PC detect Jacinto 6?

Try running the script with sudo
sudo ./fastboot.sh

I tried running fastboot.sh with sudo.
But the results were the same.
I also ran the "adb devices" command and "lsusb" command , but jacinto 6 was not detected.

Hi,

This is regular Linux PC and not a VMWare or virtual box right?

Make sure the USB cable is connected to micro USB port on EVM. Also try connecting to non USB3.0 port on your Linux PC.

My Linux PC is regular Linux PC.
Is VMWare or Virtual Box On Windows PC better ？

I tried connected to micro USB port on EVM.
but jacinto 6 was not detected.

Hi,

By default, the flashing via fastboot and adb works only over the micro USB port on EVM.

After putting the board in fastboot mode and having a micro USB cable connected from EVM to Linux PC, "lsusb" should show the entry for EVM. Something like below. If you don't see the entry in lsusb, the PC or cable needs to be checked.

Also, try connecting to a non USB3.0 port on Linux PC.

I tried connecting to several USB ports.
Jacinto 6 detected it on one of them!!
I do not know why only that port is ok.

Thanks to you I was able to Flash to Jacinto 6 .
