Linux/OMAP3530: PRM vs CM - disabling uart debug

Hello,

I try to disable debug uart peripheral.

Using CM register it is very easy to be disabled.

But trying to use PRM register can't seem to work.

I though that CM are "on" only if the PRM which provide the power is also "on" , i.e. specific PRM activates specific CM , Right ?

If yes , than why I can't disable peripheral with PRM ?

Thank you,

Ran
