TMS320C6657: bootmode pin 7,8 value for the chip select field value

Hello champs,

I am a liitle confused with the chip select field value for C6657 bootmode pin 7,8 in SPI boot mode.

In below thread, the chip select field value 00: CS0 and CS1 are both active - do not used

While in below wiki website, the bootmode pin 7,8 is 00 for ROM SPI Boot

Hi Shine,

Bill's answer is correct. See the C6657 EVM TRM:

value 00 is not used anywhere.

Also I cannot see the value 00 (7 - off, 8 - off) in the wiki you point:

1. Sorry that I could not find the "00 value" mentioned in 6657 EVM TRM. Would you please point out which section mentioned it?

2. SW5 pin1,2 is mapped to bootmode pin7,8, on the wiki website, the value is ON,ON, I think ONONmeans "00", is it correct?
