MP3 codec

Hi all

I use mp3 codec on DM365

An mp3 file needs 299 seconds to play originally(on pc player), now DM365 play the file only take 294 seconds

How can I modify this problem ??

    Phil,

     

    This is likely an issue with the sample frequency that is running for the codec on the PC vs. the DM365 board you are using.  What board are you using?  Is it the DM365 EVM?  Assuming that your PC is running at exactly 44.1kHz, it's possible that the clock dividers and such on the DM365 board may be closer to 44.85kHz, assuming your 294 vs. 299 seconds is correct.  i.e. your DM365 is running slightly faster than your PC.  It could also be that your PC is running a little SLOWER than 44.1kHz and the DM365 system is running at 44.1kHz.  Please give us the details of your DM365 system.  If it is the EVM, please check the codec register and see what the settings are there.  Please refer to the TRM for the EVM located here for details:
