Hi all,

My code base is TMS320C55XXCSL-LOWPWR-03.07.00.01 and use C5517 EVM + PCM1864 CMB.

I want to run audio pre-processing demo and import BF_rt_bios, atafs_bios_drv_lib, and C55XXCSL_LP CCS projects.

When rebuilt BF_rt_bios project, I would encounter following error message. Actually, I did not filnd "BF_rt_bios_cfg.h" file after installed TMS320C55XXCSL-LOWPWR-03.07.00.01.

OC,

Which version of CCS are you using? There are problems with C55x projects with CCSv6.2 and v7.1.

Hi Lali,

I'm using CCSv6.1.3 aligned with user guide.
The error message is missing "BF_rt_bios_cfg.h" file. Could you please provide this header file to me? Or need to comment this define in AudioCodec_DMA.c?

The BF_rt_bios_cfg.h gets generated in the debug folder at build time.

Are you using DSPBIOS 5.42.2.10 in CCS properties?

This seems to be something with your environment. What compiler are you using?

Hi OC,

I'm not sure if this is related to that specific issue, but you could also verify that the atafs_bios_drv_lib and the C55XXCSL_LP projects are linked to the BF_rt_bios project by going to the BF_rt_bios project properties and then going to the "Project References" tab as shown below.

Hi OC,

That setup seems correct, could you try "cleaning" the project first and then "building" or "rebuilding" the project. The h file BF_rt_bios_cfg.h is created when the project gets built so it seems like something might've went wrong when building the project, so cleaning it and then trying it may fix the issue.

Hi OC,

I also realized that you are using the "release" configuration could you change that to the "debug" configuration and try cleaning and building the project again.

Hi Hari,

Finally, I re-install TMS320C55XXCSL-LOWPWR-03.07.00.01-Setup.exe again.
The issue was gone and got the BF_rt_bios.out.
