Hello TI,

Thanks for your support and suggestions so far.

At present, I am digging into the AM572xx EVM for our application (we bought 2 AM572x EVM kits for development, specially for image processing), a very beginner for Linux environment and its related development. I am facing the camera detection issue. I checked with exchanging the EVM kit and camera modules, but its not working.

I read various related posts regarding the camera porting issue in AM572x EVM, but still I am confused to resolve it so I am looking for your help in my new post.

I tried some solution but no succeed. I am looking for the clear solution or suggestions for this. As I tried as per the quick start guide, but the camera is not detecting by the EVM board.

attaching some snap shots of display messages (EVM), while detecting camera....

Please suggest.

Thanks for your reply~

well, i remounted the camera module without screws and a bit fixed horizontally. Then I checked with 'ls /Dev/video*'. it s showing video1 which seems that the camera module. but later when I used the matrix application ' Video Analytics Demo, its showing the same message...
"No camera connected at the moment...........................................". Then if I click the top left 'Connect to Camera", it shows the camera config windows with device number and resolution details. By default the device number is 1. Should I need to change the device number OR from where I can confirm the device number. Please let me know.

After click OK to config window, nothing happen and there is only blank white window with no image from camera......

Please help.

Hello,

With ls /dev/video* command are you seeing /dev/video1?
You could try capture with :
yavta -c60 -p -F/home/root/5158.yuv --skip 0 -t 1/30 -f YUYV -s 720x480 /dev/video1

for example or gstreamer also:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_Training:_Multimedia
