Linux/DRA746: will VIDDEC3_OutArgs.outBufsInUseFlag be set when input buffer contains incomplete frame data?

for interlace stream, outBufsInUseFlag will be set for one filed input (to wait for another filed).

i'm curious, what will happen when input buffer contains incomplete frame data?

for example, only sps/pps w/o any slice data; or some slice data but not enough for a frame. will the outBufsInUseFlag be set?

I'm working on the IVI/car basing on TI silicon.

I think it is basic behavior of libdce, has few to do with different SDK.

Hi Halley,
outBufsInUseFlag is used for interlaced stream. Its main function is to indicate the application that only one field is decoded/populated. So application should send the same buffer again. When its 0, full frame is(or both fields) decoded, now application needs to pass new buffer.
