RTOS/66AK2H12: USB, FATFS examples

The pdk_k2hk_4_0_6 pdkObjectCreate.bat suggests that examples for USB and FATFS exist. However, there appear to be none.

Are there examples for USB (both storage and CDC drivers), and FATFS, which run under TI-RTOS? If so, where may they be found?

Hi Tim,

I have an earlier pdk version installed & yes, there are usb & fatfs examples for rtos.
Run:
cd ~/ti/pdk_k2h_2_0_3/packages/
./pdksetupenv.sh
./pdkProjectCreate.sh K2H all little usb arm
or
./pdkProjectCreate.sh K2H all little fatfs arm

You can change the last parameter from arm to dsp, if you wish to create a dsp project.

After you execute the above, you will have your project in <pdk_k2h_x_x_x>/packages/MyExampleProjects. Import this project to CCS & you will see its source files (.c & .h files).

I would like to correct Yordan`s statement regarding USB and FATFS driver support on K2H platforms. Currently USB and FATFS driver are only supported on K2G and Sitara devices as indicated in the Processor SDK RTOS Release notes:

Thank you, Rahul, for the clarification.

Our customer has selected K2H, and TI-RTOS, and requires USB, file system, networking, SPI, UART, timer, and PCIe drivers; they have designed their board using the EVM reference model. We see some of those drivers available with TI-RTOS. Are the USB and file system drivers for ARM, TI-RTOS forthcoming, or simply unavailable for this processor?

Tim,

SPI, UART, timer and PCIE drivers are supported but we don`t have any plans to add support to USB And FATFS filesystem for K2H.
FATFS and USB drivers is currently only supported for K2G devices in the device family. you can use that as reference.

For USB drivers and filesystem is only supported in ARM linux environment on this device.
