Dear Sirs and Madams,
we run the pruicss driver interface on our pru that communicate with a molex profinet stack on the main cpu (AM3357). The CPU is connected by jtag to a Lauterbach LA-7843. Most of the time our system is working fine but from time to time the system freezes and we are not able to access the cpu by jtag anymore. The Lauterbach support told us that there is an error in the cpu pipeline that causes the debugger not to be able to communicate with the cpu anymore. We can be sure the cpu is frozen because it toggles some leds in normal operation. Interesstingly we see profinet PNIO packets coming out of the ethernet-port even if the box is frozen. It seems that the prus are still working while the main cpu is frozen.
Do you have an idea why we loose the conection between the cpu and the debugger?
