I'm trying to evaluate the TMS320DM648 Davinci processor using a Lyrtech DM648 Eval Module. The problems I'm having are in running the demo code that is provided:
-The flash based demo runs correctly. That is, the application that's provided on the eval module runs as expected. It connects with the host application and displays video and etc.
-However, when I build the demo and run it, it freezes up. I can "Load Program" correctly and step thru a lot of the code, but it hangs when its waiting for I/O to update. If I step over this section of code, it then hangs when executing APP_BLOCK_create().
-Also, interestingly, when I simply load the dm648_demo.out file that's provided in the Release folder, that freezes also.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll attach the version numbers of the tools that I believe are necessary for resolving this.
