Hi Team,

I’m trying to understand ICSS_EMAC example.

I use processor_sdk_rtos_am335x_4_00_00_04 and I could generate the following example, compile it and run it ICEv2.

But I don’t know how to demonstrate it.

What is different between wSoCFile and wSoCLib?

How many icev2 board do I need?

How to connect the EVM?

The difference between wSoCFile and wSoCLib is whether or not to include icss_emacSoc.c so can use custom SoC structure like icss_EmacBaseAddrCfgParams or default from icss_emac library. Without custom Soc file, the default from library will be linked via Icss_Emac.Settings.socType = socType; in cfg file.

You need one icev2 board but need a Ethernet loopback adapter for each port.

Note, "Jumpers J18 and J19 need to be set accordingly to select CPSW or ICSS mode. Pin2 and Pin3 need to be connected for ICSS mode and Pin1 and Pin2 for CPSW mode. "

I got a Ethernet loopback adapter finally. The sample code works.
