TCI6630K2L: GE link down issue

Part Number: TCI6630K2L

Hi,

Sorry post the CI issue here as I don't know who I can ask help, hope anyone can help follow it, many thanks.

My customer is using the TCI6630K2L, they reported one GE SGMII link down issue(serdes link ok) which happened on some of their own boards at POR test, the issue happen probability is large and it can be easy to reproduce. When the issue happened, they dumped all the GE registers, compared with the good boards only found below 5 registers with different value. Would u pls help try to analysis it and let me know if any findings? And if need more info just feel free to instruct me how to get it. Look forward to your reply, thanks again.

Notes: From the SGMII_STATUS we can find the SGMII link is down on the issue board.

For the last two serdes registers which are marked as reserved in the serdes UG SPRUHO3A, the value of the two registers are random in different good and issue boards.

It is very strange that the SGMII link status is down while serdes link status is up, seems all the configuration registers are same with the good board. It happened at POR test, would u pls help brainstorm to give any comments?

BR,

Andy
