Hello,

We are using AM3354 processor for our custom board. Kernel version 4.4.41

We want to use Himax HX-8357 LCD driver which is already present in TI-SDK (03.03).

LCD is having parallel 24 bit connection with board.

How can I make use of HX-8357 LCD driver details instead of tilcdc in am335x-evm.dts file ?

Hello Biplab,

The driver you refer is in staging state and doesn't have a device tree bindings documented.
First enable the driver in kernel menuconfig, then start to examine the driver and device tree parser to make a custom node which matches your configuration.

I have already selected the driver in kernel make menuconfig.
However, want to know how to modify the dts file (mainly compatibility)?
