Power consumption summary appnotes

Hi,

Just reviewing the power consumption summaries for a few DMPs...

Are the power measurements/estimates of the power to the DMXXXX device only?   When the appnotes refer to DDR, I'm under the assumption that this power estimate is for the controller on the DMXXXX device only, not the actual DDR2 ICs.  Can someone please confirm this?  The numbers look low to include the DDR2 devices themselves, but just want to confirm.

    Greg,

    The numbers are for the DM device only. So you are correct, when it talks about DDR, it means the DDR controller inside the device.

    This is correct, in general the DDR mentionings in the power documentation refer to the DDR interface controller itself as opposed to the DDR modules attached to the controller, as various DDR devices can have various power properties, they are somewhat out of the scope of this type of document.
