Hello,

Please give me advices how to achieve the following requirement.
My customer wants to know what source code in the PCIe EP device should be modified.

- PCIe on TMDXIDK5718 is set to EP mode.
- RC Host device controls TMDXIDK5718 (EP mode) and control ON/OFF LED which is connected to TMDXIDK5718.

Hi, Nomo,

Conceptually, it should work by mapping GPIO MMR to PCIe memory region, but this is not something we have tested. If it doesn't work this way, it may need a custom EP driver which pulls the input data from RC and configure the GPIO.

Is there any information what EP driver's code should be costomed?
Or is there any information how to use the installed PCIe EP driver on the target board?

Hi, Nomo,

A new endpoint function driver should be written (similar to drivers/pci/endpoint/functions/pci-epf-test.c), which takes the command from RC to control LED.
