TDA2EVM5777: SPI and I2C in Infoadas Package

Hi,

I am using Infoadas package in my TI Jacinto J6 board. I couldnt find find commands like i2cdetect or spidetect, also i coudn't find any /dev/spidev also. How can we enable SPI and I2C communication in Infoadas Linux? Where are the peripheral pinouts on Evaluation board?

Ganesh,

* i2cdect is available in the default filesystem as part of i2c-tools package (installed by default)
* i2c devices are enumerated as /dev/i2c-X (X=0, 1, 2, 3, etc)
* I am not sure if we have any SPI devices connected on EVM
* Ask for EVM schematics to be accessed in CDDS for details on pinouts

where doo we have i2c pinouts in J6 EVM? Also i couldn't find /dev/spi* devices.

As I said,

* We may not have any SPI devices on the EVM, so no /dev/spi (It might not even be present in the DTB file)
* Check with CPE for giving you access to board schematics in CDDS where you can get all pinouts
