Hi,Ti Engineers:

I have a question to ask? The AM3359 in the beagleboneblack has two pru processors,

Is it right? Why I have to plug a pru cape in the bbb to use the pru?

The bbb can run the examples in TI SDK without the pru cape?

The PRU cape is necessary for processors.wiki.ti.com/.../PRU_Training:_Hands-on_Labs As stated in the wiki article:

"The following are the hardware and software configurations for this lab. The steps in this lab are written against this configuration. The concepts of the lab will apply to other configurations but will need to be adapted accordingly."

This means that you won't be able to complete the labs exactly as described in the wiki and must adapt accordingly.

well,thanks for your answer so soon!I do noticed the pru lab's issues about pru cape as the hardware.What I really want to know is, Can I utilize the pru function in bbb without the pru cape? I think it is possible,but I don't know how,anybody knows?thanks again!

Yes, of course you can. Just follow the lab steps in the wiki link I posted above.
