Hello,

Have a brand new AM5728 IDK board and had problem to connect to target.

0403/6010 blank EEPROM unknown no description available

What should I do?

Can you describe your Host configuration? Also check section 4.4 in www.ti.com/.../sprui64b.pdf

Hi Biser,

I am using CCS V7.2 on Windows 7. The board is powered by an external power supply and started by pressing the start-up push button SW3. Then the USB JTAG cable is connected from the board to my host.

I am not using any SD card image. Instead, have a example project compiled in CCS and plan to load the example through JTAG USB.

Can you check if you are correctly following these guidelines: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM572x_GP_EVM_Hardware_Setup This is for the GP EVM, but should also apply for the IDK.

Not sure what part of the "guidelines" will resolve the issue. As originally stated I got "blank EEPROM", I programmed the EEPROM and be able to debug now.
