66AK2L06: Can DDR3 be initialized before Boot Loader is loaded

We are using  66AK2L06 on our Customized Board.Today it is been designed to use SPI Boot Load Option.As I understand from the documentation (KeyStone II Architecture SPRUHJ3 ) ROM boot Loader will kick in first and then will choose one of the Boot Load options as per BOOTMODE Settings.

The question is ,"Is there any option for 66AK2L06 to initialize DDR3 even before Boot Loader is loaded ?".The reason we are looking for this option is to minimize Software impact every time HW changes (like DDR3 obsolete )
