TCI6638K2K: BOOTMODE pins for SPI boot.

Part Number: TCI6638K2K

I am trying to select the correct pullups/pulldowns to support SPI bootmode on a TCI6638K2K. I have an SPI EEPROM on CS0 of SPI port 0.

I am struggling with the definition of BOOTMODE[6] (i.e. DEVSTAT[7]) which is called NPin.

The TCI6638K2K datasheet seems to indicate it selects between 4-pin or 5-pin mode (does this mean 3-pin or 4-pin). It also says it selects between just CS0 and CS0-CS3 to be driven. Is this a typo?

What does the NPin do, and should I pull it high or low for 4-pin SPI mode?
