Hello,

I recently purchased a TMS320C6657 processor and a XDS200 USB Debug Probe (TMDSEMU200-U). I would like to place the processor on a PCB board and program it on that board with the probe I purchased. What hardware pieces would you recommend to use on this PCB board to allow the probe to program the processor? Is there a way to program the processor without soldering it to a PCB board? If more clarification is necessary, please let me know as well.

    You need to design a board according to the specific device data manual & the complementary hardware design guide. In those documents you have a complete guidance on how to design the debug probe & utilize different boot options. Full documentation of the device is located here:
