AM3352: Booting from UART

Hi All,

We Have Bought a new Black Beagle Bone(BBB) For our development purpose. We are trying to port u-boot through UART of BBB. The Print message cccccc.... is coming. How to port the u-boot through UART. I am currently using UBUNTU 16.04. Thank's In Advance.

I Have tried to port the images as referred in the above link. But we are facing the following Issues as shown in the above screen shot.

Which file are you trying to upload? Please post your command line log.

Hi Biser,

We hold the S2 and power on the BBB. In Minicom CCCCCCC is printed after that

Step 1: CTRL+A

Step 2: Z for help in minicom

Step 3: S for send file

Step 4: Xmode is choosed for porting the spl/u-boot-spl.bin

Step 5: Retry 0: NAK on sector

Retry 0: NAK on sector

Retry 0: cancelled

Transfer Incomplete

Can you post your File transfer protocols settings?

minicom -s

Try these two commands:
$ sx -kb /path/to/u-boot-spl.bin < /dev/ttyUSB0 > /dev/ttyUSB0
$ sx -kb --ymodem /path/to/u-boot.img < /dev/ttyUSB0 > /dev/ttyUSB0

Hi Kemal,
I have given the first command and the bellow line is displayed,

Give your local XMODEM receive command now.

Can you provide the screen shot of the command.

Press the reboot button to give it a receive command.
